What do you need to know before your travel to Armenia?

Costs

We have worked hard to keep the Reflection Retreat as accessible as possible for everyone in our community.
The ticket price is 150 EUR (+ 11.09 EUR fee) per person.
This fee covers:

  • 3 nights of accommodation
  • Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee breaks)
  • All retreat activities and materials

Please note:

  • Travel costs to and from Armenia (airfare, bus, train) are not included.
  • Visa costs, if needed, are also not covered.

Accommodation

You will be hosted at the beautiful Radisson Hotel Gyumri, located right in the heart of the city:

  • Double-room accommodation (sharing with another participant)
  • Private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, TV, desk, and cosy amenities
  • Walking distance to key cultural spots and city life

As a special treat, participants will have access to Alexandra Spa and Oriental Bath — one of Gyumri’s most beloved wellness spots. Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit! 🧖‍♂️🧖‍♀️

Weather

Expect mild and comfortable weather in Gyumri:

  • Daytime: 18°C to 26°C
  • Nighttime: 10°C to 13°C

Packing tip: Bring a light jacket for evenings, comfortable walking shoes for cobblestone streets, and a swimsuit for spa time!

Currency

  • Currency: Armenian Dram (AMD)
  • ATMs are widely available, and most cards (Visa, Mastercard) work well.

Getting Around

From Yerevan Airport to Gyumri:

Use the local Taxi apps: Download GG Taxi or Eco Taxi for safe and affordable rides (no cash needed!).
These apps give you access to affordable, reliable taxis right at your fingertips. Simply connect your credit card, and you’re all set for a smooth and seamless ride around the city.

  • Gyumri is Armenia’s cultural capital, famous for its resilience after the 1988 earthquake and its vibrant arts scene.
  • The old district, Kumayri, is like stepping into a living museum of 19th-century architecture.
